Center for Multicultural Health

Basic Human Needs
Statewide

The Center for MultiCultural Health (CMCH) is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of diverse communities, including individuals from communities of color, those with limited English proficiency, immigrants, and refugees. Since 1976, CMCH has been providing innovative health advocacy, health promotion, disease prevention, and immigrant and refugee service programs. Their approach is grounded in the principle that effective responses to health issues must be generated in partnership with the community and meet evolving community needs. CMCH offers a range of services, including health education, multi-risk factor screening, cardiovascular health promotion, tobacco and cannabis control, women's health services, refugee health and advocacy, and community education. They are committed to eliminating health disparities and increasing accessibility to health services and resources.
